My gf is a real horse enthusiast and happens to own horses herself. She spends any spare time riding her horse since she lives on farm land. I even went to her horse show last weekend and watched her compete. Here is the problem, she wants me to ride a horse with her by some lake near her house on Saturday and have like a picnic. Not sure what's going on for a while but Im noticing that my pace is slower only at work. I want to better myself. I need your advice. I've had so many jobs and most recent one I unfortunately got fired. I used to work for a non profit for so many years I loved it and was praised for my work I was an Administrative Coordinator. I left that job 2 years ago to go abroad and now I'm at a new job and will soon be hired permanent. It requires alot of Data entry which I tend to slow down on and I don't do it on purpose I'm a good worker and Im praised at other tasks which is why I'm getting a permanent position. I want to enhance my skills and I can practice my data entry but i tend to see others be more ahead of me. Like today I had to input data entry it's taken me 2 days and gal next to me took her 2 hours! Hey, I was curious what does the process to become a Catholic Priest involve? I understand that people who did not go to college have to go through 8 years of schooling in the seminary or something along those lines, whereas college grads typically go through 4-6 years of studies. I believe college grads do a Master's in theology to become priests? However, what I was also curious to know is whether or not candidates for the priesthood have to learn a foreign language during their studies? Lastly, do all candidates go for studies in Rome? or does the Bishop or whoever in charge decide whether certain candidates go to Rome over others? Employment for high anxiety individuals?

I worked counter at a clothing tore and had to quite due to high stress factor. I used to work in a busy restaurant with no problem but that was before my anxiety began.. I have also tried to work in a small fast food joint but had 2 major panic attacks, shaking hands = burning etc. I'm not asking for advice to "Get rid" of anxiety because it's not that simple but what are some SPECIFIC part time jobs you can think of I could look into? This dog has food, water and shelter. Even so, its been extremely hot out. 95 to 100 degrees.Theres also been some severe storms. the dog paces nervously when I come over to give it water. I am not allowed to let him out.he has bit someone before. I just put a hose in to make sure he has water. He has an automatic feeder full of food in there.He's not so bad that they can't be around him. I have seen the dog recently run around the front yard for about a minute. I think he just has potential to bite. The dogs demeaner seems playful and sweet at times(seeing him from across the street) but when he's in the fenced in area he paces and seems off. Only way I can think to describe it. just feel like somethings not right with the dog. Probably why they have him back there. I feel bad for this dog but I'm not sure if I'm worried about nothing.The caged in thing just seems bad for him but I think the owners feel they have no other choice. They are nice people. I just wonder if they may not realize it.They probably do spend time with it and play with him in the backyard and take him places for all I know. The dog does have shelter from the sun and two buckets of water and food. Its just a tiny area with no human or animal interaction except when I come over to make sure his water is full. I was stuck at a certain weight for the longest time so, I had the same problem! First off you may have a slow metabolism. Some ways to speed up your metabolism is eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 larger meals. Eating six 260-300 calories meals every 2-3 hours boost your metabolism because you keep intaking food, forcing it to work. Another reason why you might not be losing weight is because your body is so used to the same exercise. Try adding another half mile to your workout, it will make a difference. Also, sprinting really fast say for a half a mile burns the SAME amount of calories as running one mile, it's speed that makes the difference, not the distance. If you have trouble tracking your distance run on a treadmill (I personally find it easier than running outside). Last, but certainly not least is keep hydrated with lots of water! I drink about three or four water bottles a day. It flushes out everything in your system and cleans it! I hope I helped! Good luck!

How can I fix my blackberry curve?

So, I bought a blackberry curve 8530 about 2 weeks ago. At first there was something wrong with the operating system, so he re installed it. But now I have an even worse problem. How should I react in this situation?

Look, the bishop of my church has asked me to play the bass guitar in the church musicians group. I told him that I didn't know how but he was still enthusiastic about having me play. He said that it doesn't matter and about a month or two later the bishop's son bought me a bass guitar so that I could learn. About Once every week I would get together with the other musicians (the pianist and the drummers) and play during the church service.Well, I'm not a professional, eveytime I would play, the bishop's son, who is an experienced bass player, would show me a different trick or way to play the bass. So it's been about 3 weeks since they bought the bass guitar for me and when I wasn't playing in the church, I would be learning at home at my own pace. Last Sunday a group of my friends and I were talking about the music at the church(the drummer was in the group). One of my friends started talking about how he knew how to play the bass guitar and that he took lessons at his school, so he's experienced. The drummer was surprised that guy knew how to play and he ran to tell his father (the bishop's son). The bishop's son came out and talked to my friend saying "you know how to play the bass? Why didn't you tell me?" he told the both of us to bring our guitars on the next Saturday for rehersal. So my Problem is that I just started playing the bass 3 weeks ago and I'm not starting my guitar lessons for a few more days. This friend of mine is experienced and he has had lessons for probably months. I guess I feel threatened and intimidated because he says that he knows stuff that I still don't know yet. Alright, so, I always got along with my mom. Well, other than when I was little, you know? But now that I've matured, even though she still punished me, I would always know it was for my own good... after awhile. My dad, on the other hand, is crazy. I don't think that these people are morons. They're sincere of heart, or they wouldn't be handing over their money. I am 24 and not yet done with my degree. I have one college algebra course until I get my Associates (already walked, but need that class). My local university won't allow me to go any further until I finish that algebra. I have a severe case of dyscalculia and can't find another fully online math course so I can go at my own pace. Okay, so for field hockey we do a run of varying length in the beginning of practice, and I have a friend who beats me during a lot of them, and when we run together I have to try a lot harder to run at the same pace. The thing that REALLY pisses me off is that I practice a lot more than her. I run on all of my days off (its preseason so we only have practice 3 times a week) and am always changing it up (tempo runs, interval type runs, ect.) and I push myself insanely hard during all of them. It's not fair and I seriously don't know what else to do. Please help me do something or explain why this is happening?

Advice on applying to University?

I would suggest that you majorly boost your extracurricular activities because if your grades are not stellar, that's the next thing that universities look at. I don't know about Concordia or Bishop, but it's unlikely that you'll get into McGill with those grades, as the competition is stiff and they even turn straight-A students away. Your grade 10 and 11 marks are the most important because you'll have to submit high school grades in the middle of your grade 12 year so they won't be able to base your admission on your entire grade 12 year. Any recommendations for a good collar/leash training?

Your approach is good. Obviously you are getting an unknown dog, so you will need to assess your dog. Harnesses for dogs are far better than dog collars for training your dog to walk by your side, without pulling, as collars can cause damage to the dog's neck/trachea. Vets recommend harnesses. That's called fraud and it's illegal but as his parent you need too discipline him, Whatever he bought with the money should go back and he should have to donate the money as he should of in the first place. I'd make him tell the truth to whoever was in charge of the collection and if he can't get his money back I'd pay for it out of my own money and make him find a way to earn it back. How can i improve for cross country?

So pretty much, i am super pissed right now. I didn't do spring track, not saying why, but i didn't do it. But i still ran. I just focoused on building up a big base, which i did. Now real summer xc training started with the team. There are some kids who barley have ran before, a fe kids who havent ran in months, and there beating me. I know its not a race but i am giving it almost 100 % and there going like at a moderate pace. I am frustrated because i felt like the whole base i built was a waste of time. Here is the situation: My mother lives in Florida and, until recently, my younger sister and her two children lived there too. My mother would have the children 5 days a week, and during the evenings and overnight on weekend. (so yeah, basically all the time) My sister was never really concerned about it because she was able to go out, work (sometimes) and try to keep an eye on her "husband". So, the Saturday before that eadly tornado went through Joplin, she tells my mother she will watch the children. Of course, she actually just takes off with the kids and steals one of my mother's cars in the process. (Let's also add into the note that my mother was IN THE PROCESS of trying to get custody of both children!) My mother was scared that if she reported the car stolen, the children would be put into the system and she would never get custody of them. Anyway, my sister goes to Joplin,Missour and we all know what happened next. Now she is trying to ask my mother for money and such, using the sob storey that "the baby doesn't have this" or "the baby doesn't have that" (one child is a 6 year old boy, the other is a 7 month old girl) but she has money to try and convince the children's father to come over. (She basically pays him to come and see them). My mother has offered to have the children flown back but my sister wants none of it because she "knows that eventually the father will come around." The children are sleeping in a car every now and then because the father's side of the family wants nothing to do with any one of them and my sister has only 3 sets of clothing for them. She says she would rather make this sacrifice than try to live without this man. She has left the children at shelters with people because she "was checking into work" at late hours (we are talking midnight and on) and sees nothing wrong with the children just being shuffled around. She wants my mother to take pictures of things in Florida and send it to her so she can claim that she lost those items in the tornado, ie a television, a different car, expensive stuff you know). She is impossible to track because of the hopping she does from shelter to shelter, but we do know she is still in Joplin. The CPS in Missouri is very busy now, understandably, but there has to be something that can be done. I am unfamiliar with Florida law (I work in law enforcement in Texas) and have no clue of what else to do. We have tried contacting CPS in Missouri, but they are very busy; the social worker in Florida says there is very little they can do right now. There must be something to expose the fraud she is trying to pull and the way she is neglecting these children. Any SERIOUS advice would be appreciated.

Summer cross country training?

Hi, I run cross country for Lockport high school in NY and this upcoming season is going to be my last. Last year I ran an 18:40( I think I could of went around a 18:10ish). In track I ran a 4:57 mile and a 11:07 2 mile( again I think I could of gone a bit faster if I learned to push myself better. This year i want to run a 17:00 in cross country. The past couple weeks i've been running around 7 to 8 mile a day at around 7:30 to 8:00 minute mile pace. Around 50 miles a week. And have been doing mile repeats at around 6 minutes after my 7 mile runs. I also just started working out push ups sit ups planks leg lifts etc. I would like for someone to tell me what I should be doing to reach my goal of 17:00 in the xc 5k or any advice and tips are greatly appreciated. My friend who just got baptized lied about his age. Should I tell the Bishop?

It's been a year now since he has been baptized. He told the Bishop last year that he was 26, but he was really 30. Now he's 31, but they think he's 27. He lied because he wants to stay in the singles ward. I told him that I may inform the Bishop, and he told me that he did it so he can find his companion. I understand where he is coming from, but now I am in a bind. What should I do?

Why don't I feel normal? Please can I have some serious answers?

I head seems so messed up. I haven't cut myself in a little less than a year but when I did cut myself I felt so happy. It hurt to cut myself, but once it was done I felt so good. Like a whole lot of weight was lifted off my shoulders. I have really vivid dreams of me killing people or people dieing. There are times where I try to save them from the enemy. I feel so depressed at times which has sometimes led to an anxiety attack. I am a patient person and always have a smile on my face. For as far back as 5th grade, I have bottled up my emotions. When I am angry I am full of rage and feel like I am on the brink of snapping and losing it. I cannot even remember the last time I cried.I workout out and run 6 days a week. I am a healthy 23 year old 5'10 1/2" and 180lbs. Sometimes I get so depressed I do not even want to eat. When I close my eyes I feel the emotional pain.I no longer sleep because I have this pain in my shoulder and neck and sometimes lower pack to the point where I cannot sleep. What is weird is the pain will one day be on my right side and then the next be on my left side and both in the same spot. The pain is not from working out because I do it with perfect form. Maybe this is where I store my stress, I don't know. Deep down inside I feel so empty and lifeless. I have NEVER had suicidal thoughts. So when I did go to cut myself, everything just seemed like it stopped and slowed down a bit. It felt great but I knew it wasn't good for me.Then again things do seem to go at a faster pace then they should be. What the hell is wrong with me?

Lately I've been thinking a lot about this. Im not quite sure what to do... I'm not very active and truthfully confused How I feel about the church... The passed five months randomly the patrearticle blessing would be brought up. And for days it would be stuck in my head. Both tornadoes would be F-3's on the old scale, and are strong EF4's on the current scale. In order to acheive old F-5 status, both the Joplin and Tuscaloosa tornadoes would have had to had winds of 259 miles an hour. In other words, the Joplin and Tuscaloosa tornado winds were between 60 and 80 miles an hour WEAKER than ANY storm which was ever an F-5. In addition, the winds in the OKC May 1999 tornado were recorded at 319 miles an hour according to a Doppler on Wheels. To put this into an even better perspective, wind gusts in south Florida with Hurricane Andrew were AS STRONG as these two tornadoes mentioned above, if all information is deemed correct. Surely, the wind gusts were over estimated by like 20% in ALL tornadoes if the Tuscaloosa and Joplin tornadoes did not - or just BARELY sustained max windspeed of 200 miles an hour.

How to prepare for a freshman soccer tryout?

I'm entering 9th grade this year and I promised my friend I'd try out with her. I tried out for modified team in both 7th and 8th grade and did not make it. I think I would have made it last year, but because of budget cuts, freshman soccer was cut this past year, and reinstated for this coming year. So, what should I be practicing? I haven't played in a year or two. I can run kinda fast, but only for a short time. I can run longer at a slower pace. I used to play my best as a defender, but I'd like to try goalie. My GF wants to ride horses together but I am scared?

My gf is a real horse enthusiast and happens to own horses herself. She spends any spare time riding her horse since she lives on farm land. It is a big passion of hers and we have a lot of conversations about her mastering jump courses and whatever skills she is working on. I even went to her horse show last weekend and watched her compete. Here is the problem, she wants me to ride a horse with her by some lake near her house on Saturday and have like a picnic. It sounds really fun and romantic. The problem is that I have never been on a horse before and I am actually a little scared. I guess I am asking, is it difficult to ride a horse at walking pace? I don’t want to let her down and when I told her I never been on a horse but want to learn, she said its super easy to (trail ride). So should I be a little nervous riding a horse for the first time or am I overreacting?

How to jog when I'm tired?

I have to jog for 2 hours a day (120 minutes), on 5.0 speed which is a paced speed. The thing is, I get to about 50 minutes and I want to stop. I've once reached an 90 minutes but I had to stop because I was interrupted, so I know this is a task I'm physically able to do, it's just that I really don't want to do it. I try everything to pass the time, listen to music, watch TV, even put my head down and close my eyes on the grip bar. But all those techniques last for about 7 minutes. and it's just sooooo tiring, but I want to lose weight and get healthier. I also want to do a non stop jog, since that's the best way to help the heart. Is there any psychological exercises that make your mind not think about time, or go into some trance (LOL i'm that desperate) because I would really do anything to be able to do these two hours. And I have to do this everyday.

Yes it can be done...been there done that. It helps if the horses all know how to stop on their hind end, ie sliding stop. Horses get hurt when they attempt to stop on their front end by jamming their front legs in the ground with a hollowed out back ;-)

What activity would my GSD be good at? Any suggestions?

I have a 16 month old, small (55 lb), female rescue GSD. She has a lot of energy, more than that could be solved with a daily walk. I really want to do some type of activity/competition with her. We are looking at agility because she is super fast, nimble, agile, and can jump very high! She is very smart and can learn to do almost anything. She has pretty much no fear! She also has a high prey drive, and is very workable. I want this activity to tire her out because of all her energy. Is agility a good choice? Seems like a lot of work but is it worth it? She currently is at training classes so she is fairly well trained, not so sure she could be an obedience or rally dog, needs really fast pace. Oh she also loves water! What are some things she might be able to do?

I was reading about the floods in Nashville, the Joplin tornado, and the earthquake in Japan and it all makes me so sad. Not to mention the murders and cruelty (to people and animals) that goes on. I think wavy hair will look gorgeous for a hippy style, they never used products in there hair in the 60's ;)! I went to primark and got this really cute plaited/bead/feather head tie thing - sounds kinda odd on here but its nice for a hippie look, and very easily affordable. IT TOOK OUT THE RING GEAR AND PINION. I REPLACED THE WHOLE GEAR BOX & AXEL SHAFT. IT CAME IN AN ASSEMBLY. SINCE REPLACING IT, I CANNOT SEEM TO GET THE MOWER TO RUN IN THE GRASS. ON CONCRETE IT GOES FINE, NOT IN THE GRASS. I REPLACED THE BELT. THE SPRING IS ATTACHED TO THE ARM THAT MOVES THE GEAR BOX ,ROTATING THE GEAR BOX ON THE AXEL WHICH TIGHTENS THE BELT. THE SPRING IS FASTENED TO THE CABLE AND IS NOT REMOVABLE. WHEN THE COVER OF THE BEARING WENT THROUGH THE RING AND PINION, IT TOOK THE TEETH OFF OF THEM.
