Converted2LDS/Mormon Can i keep my body piercings?

I have some body piercings [intimate] that no one can see unless i'm in my BDAY suit :) I know we are discouraged from wearing more than one pair of earrings [STUPID] if your bodies a temple, why should is just ONE set of punctures okay??? anyways -- Since i've had the piercings for years BEFORE joining the church, is it ok for me to wear the jewelry, either way, a hole is a hole, the piercing will still be there - just not comfy with asking my Bishop :)
