Cat and pregnancy!!?

I know my cat is pregnant and when she lays down, if i gently place my hand on her belly i can feel the kittens! the earliest i can get her in vets is next week so can someone help me! she has been pacing around, miaowing alot and hardly sits still, why does she does she do this? Can anyone give me any tips for preparing for the birth as i reckon she is due to drop soon! Thanks
