Question on analogy of baptism to the resurrection of Christ?

Your pastor is either wrong, or he assumed that as a trinitarian you would assume that since The Father and The Son are one in being, then the statement logically follows that Christ resurrected Himself, if it's true the The Father ressurected Him.
