How can i get to Joplin, MO to help out with the disaster?

I live in Phoenix, AZ and would like to find a relief group to be apart of to go to Joplin, MO and help out with the tornado disaster. I have looked on red cross and salvation army but all it offers is "donations" does anyone have info about how i can volunteer??
